Flixfox Terms of Service

By acquiring, installing, or running Flixfox on an Android phone, tablet, Android TV, or Fire TV Stick, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. They exist to keep the service lawful, stable, and fair for every user, and continued use signifies acceptance. The agreement is governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India, including the Copyright Act, 1957.

What Flixfox is

Flixfox is an Information Location Tool, an automated web index, and a neutral media discovery directory. In alignment with Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, it holds Safe Harbor protection as a passive technological intermediary. Flixfox does not create, upload, transcode, store, or transmit any media files across its own infrastructure. All indexed links and streaming locations originate on independent third-party servers, and the works they point to remain the property of their owners under the Copyright Act, 1957.

Free to use

Flixfox is free, and the entire catalogue is open to every guest without registration. The app is sustained by light third-party advertising rather than a subscription, so there is no paywall between a viewer and the regional library. No fee, login, or membership is needed to browse the directory, play a title in 1080p, or move between the phone and the television.

Hardware scope and emulation

Flixfox is engineered, compiled, and maintained solely for the open Android environment: Android smartphones, Android TVs, and Fire TV Stick. It does not manufacture, optimise, or support builds for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or other non-Android hardware, and it is not a native Windows or macOS application. A viewer who deploys Flixfox on a laptop or desktop through a third-party Android emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPlayer does so under self-assumed liability for thermal fluctuations, driver incompatibilities, memory issues, and operating-system instabilities arising from that environment.

Eligibility and prohibited conduct

Because the index is broad and unfiltered, Flixfox is intended for users aged 18 and above, or for minors only under the active supervision of a parent or guardian; on a shared television or Fire TV Stick, the adult who owns the device is responsible for the material accessed and for who uses it. Your licence is personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. You are forbidden from reverse-engineering the APK, running automated scrapers or bots against the indexing endpoints, reselling access, or redistributing modified versions of the app. Any attempt to overload the index or circumvent its controls leads to immediate exclusion and possible civil remedies under Indian cyber law.

Upstream latency and jurisdiction

The links and media that Flixfox indexes rely on external broadcast relays and hosts. Flixfox assumes no liability for stream interruptions, buffering, or dead links resulting from remote-host congestion during major film releases or nationwide sporting events, and the directory is offered strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis. This agreement is interpreted under the domestic laws of the Republic of India, with any proceedings submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi or Mumbai.
